The scientific stuff
On this page you will find details of the recipe and nutrients found in Natures Harvest Fish Cat Food. Actually the recipe bit is really simple, because it is mostly lovely fresh fish. This is because most cats love fish, and - guess what - it is pretty good for them too. We have added some vitamins and minerals to stay healthy, and Cranberries, which can help avoid kidney problems. There's a bit of Salmon Oil from the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond (Scotland, anyway) that your cat will simply adore, and which gives a super-gleaming coat.
All Natures Harvest foods are made from single source proteins. What that means is that - much like the fish you get in the fishmonmger - we know where it comes from, and when and where it was caught. This in turn means that we can be sure there are no "nasties" getting into your cat's food. Good fresh fish is mixed wth the other ingredients and then gently steam cooked in a sealed tray to retain all that's good and natural.
We're very proud of this great product, and happy to tell you as much as we can about what goes into it so that you can make an informed choice about your cat's nutrition. There's no artificial anything - no preservatives, artificial colourings or flavourings or anything else you wouldn't expect to see, just pure goodness, which is a good start. We think we have included everything you might need in this info, but if there's something missing, please just ask. You can use the customer enquiry form on the website, or call us during regular office hours on 01953 714648. We may not be able to answer your question immediately, but will always come back to you, and do so as quickly as we can.
Whilst we know lots about cat food, we're not vets, so if your cat is unwell or has recurring dietary problems you should seek professional advice. If you're not sure where your nearest small animal practice is to be found, there's a list here. If you are concerned about the cost of visiting the vet, The Blue Cross offers subsidised services in many areas of Great Britain, to find out more, just click this link, or you could try the PDSA here.
Natures Harvest Fish Cat Food is made in Great Britain from home-grown ingredients. We take great care to ensure that we make and sell consistently good product, but if there is anything that gives you cause for concern please ask, and we will do everything we can to sort out the problem.
